Mining Association of Canada
The Mining Association of Canada (MAC) is the industry organisation for the Canadian mining industry.
Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) is a sustainability program made up of 9 protocols; including climate change; tailings management; Indigenous and community relationships; water stewardship; and health and safety. The program is mandatory for MAC members and can apply to mining companies operating in countries whose national mining associations have adopted the program.
