Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI)
The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) is a cross-industry initiative focused on advancing responsible mineral sourcing across global supply chains.
The Downstream Assessment Program (DAP) covers the implementation of due diligence management systems in line with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict‑Affected and High‑Risk Areas 5-step framework. The Program applies to downstream entities operating between ‘choke point’ suppliers (i.e. smelters and refiners) and end-users.
