Below is a list of all of the materials that the WGC Responsible Gold Mining Principles applies to or could be applied to.
World Gold Council (WGC)
The World Gold Council (WGC) is a membership body that develops standards, promotes demand for gold and supports the gold market.
The WGC's Responsible Gold Mining Principles establish a set of expectations for consumers, investors and the downstream gold supply chain for what constitutes responsible gold mining. These Principles recognise and consolidate existing frameworks, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct, the principles of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and the International Council on Mining and Metals’ (ICMM) Performance Expectations.
Compare multiple standards or benchmark your own standard, code of conduct or businesses activities against those of the WGC Responsible Gold Mining Principles.
