Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI)
The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) is a global non-profit standards setting and certification organisation whose vision is to maximise the contribution of aluminium to a sustainable society.
The ASI Chain of Custody Standard covers material traceability requirements; mass balance accounting criteria; and inventory controls to track responsibly produced aluminium through supply chains. The Standard applies as a voluntary add-on for ASI Performance Standard-certified sites operating at any stage of the aluminium value chain.
